BEVERLY HILLS, CA (February 16, 2023) - G-Wagen specialist Pit26 Motorsports is thrilled to unveil the company's newest G-Class custom, a specially designed G63 AMG made for off-road adventuring, desert mobbing and dune running. Priced starting at $385,000, the sleek new Pit26 extended cab G-Wagen seamlessly flows within the G-Class aesthetic while beautifully stretching the truck and vastly upgrading the rig's off-road performance capabilities. Introduced in a sharp dark grigio colorway, the new Pit26 G63 AMG showcases the Southern Californian builder's commitment to expertly engineered, incredibly capable, one-of-a-kind Mercedes-Benz creations.

Pit26 Motorsports starts with the framework of a 2019-2023 G63 AMG or G550. The interior of the truck is meticulously skinned while stripping the rear exterior. The G63 AMG's front bumper, rear bumper, and side steps are removed. Pit26 fabricators then cut the vehicle directly behind the rear seats and carefully remove the rear glass, which is used in the new crew cab. The next stage is extending the AMG chassis by 20 inches. Fabricators then perfectly recreate the rear of the G-Wagen using all the OEM trim and parts in a complex, time-intensive process that reimagines the G63 AMG as a crew cab.
In addition to introducing an all new and upgraded suspension, Pit26 Motorsports integrates re-geared portal axles for significantly improved ground clearance in off-road conditions. New upper and lower control arms, durable steering knuckle, and custom 2.65" Bilstein race performance racing shocks and coils are included in the new Pit26 G63 AMG to create an off-road ready suspension. The rear axle receives a full lower truss support for added strength and rigidity. Incorporating either Pit26 20" custom forged simulated beadlock wheels or 18-inch Innov8 racing wheels allows for improved clearance and more delivered grip from the 38" Toyo tires as the new portals expertly account for larger tire size. The result is just shy of nine inches of additional clearance while maintaining factory level steering geometry and suspension angle, which provide for a factory comfort on road driving experience.
The new Pit26 G63 AMG also features a wide range of custom fabricated options that allow clients a custom fit to application experience. This first edition truck includes an integrated custom winch bumper, rear high clearance bumper with full size spare tire carrier, roof rack with KC offroad lights, roof top tent, factory running board delete with electric side steps for added clearance, custom exhaust, rear cargo storage by truck vault, and dual mountain bike rack bed mounts. While manufacturing the perfect extended cab off-roader, the Pit26 G63 AMG maintains all the OEM engine specifications and factory brakes although upgraded tuning and braking is available. The vehicle's drivetrain can be serviced at any Mercedes dealer. The new Pit26 G63 AMG interior is also the exact same as the original in order to keep the OEM G-Wagen aesthetic impeccably intact.

Committed to making the most capable, off-road ready G-Wagen customs in the world today, the Pit26 G63 AMG accounts for more than 1,100 hours of build work. Future editions of the truck currently in the works include a G63-1000 "pre-runner" for the hardcore enthusiast and G63 Lux, which will be just as capable underneath while maintaining a more factory look with the original bumpers and aesthetic for the client who wants a more polished rig for the street.
