Porsche has unveiled the all-new 2026 911 Turbo S at the IAA Mobility trade show in Munich. Touted as the most powerful production 911 to date, the new Turbo S introduces a twin-turbo powertrain with T-Hybrid technology, delivering a combination of extreme performance, refined handling, and bold design. Available in both coupe and Cabriolet, this latest generation brings notable upgrades across performance, aerodynamics, chassis, and overall design.
The heart of the new 911 Turbo S is a 3.6-litre twin-turbo flat-six high-performance T-Hybrid engine, producing 701 hp—an increase of 61 hp over the previous model—and 800 Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through an 8-speed DCT, allowing the car to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 8.4 seconds, with a top speed of 322 km/h. During final development drives in 2024, a lightly camouflaged Turbo S clocked a lap time of 7:03.92, 14 seconds quicker than its predecessor.
Handling and braking have also been enhanced. The new Turbo S features wider rear tires (325/30 ZR 21) for improved dry handling, while front tires remain at 255/35 ZR 20. Standard Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) now come with upgraded brake pads, and the rear rotors have grown to 410 mm, a 20-mm increase over the previous generation.
Inside, the 911 Turbo S coupe comes standard as a two-seater, with optional rear seats available at no extra cost. The Cabriolet offers a 2+2 seating layout. Sporty comfort is emphasized with adaptive 18-way Sport Seats Plus with memory function, complete with “Turbo S” lettering on the headrests. Specific emblems on seat surfaces and door panels pay homage to the original 911 Turbo.
With its powerful engine, refined chassis, and updated interior, the 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S continues Porsche’s legacy of delivering the ultimate combination of performance, luxury, and innovation.
